Ok, so after we got back from our super fun trip to Portland we were home for 3 days and then headed off to Pocatello, Id for our annual Stucki Family Reunion(also, super fun)! There, we camped in the backyard, participated in some mini-triathlon activities, swam, talked, played, built our own mini-golf course and just had a wonderful time with all types of family members.
Abbie spent most of her time on the slip n slide set up on the hill in the backyard!
But after a couple days of not enough sleep, THIS is what she looked like!
Here's Kallie with her new best friend, "Miss Heather". We all just call her Heather but that wasn't good enough for Kallie!

Here's our mini-golf hole! Each family built one and our was dubbed "White Water Wipeout". Isn't my husband so talented!
This picture was taken on Saturday evening when everyone was already exhausted, but I think we did fairly well! We are only missing a handful of people that couldn't be there!
Then we came home for a week or so. Karlo's work has been a little hit and miss lately(construction industry) so he took a job guiding a raft trip down the Payette River for some friends of ours who were having their own family reunion. They had a lot of fun! Then he worked a few days before we found out that his sister had passed away due to terminal cancer that was diagnosed in February. So we packed our bags again and headed to Lacey, Washington where her family has lived for the past 1o years or so. We were grateful to have the opportunity to be with our many family members during this time of mourning. Laurie will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but we are comforted to know that the Lord's plan and purposes are greater than our own and Laurie was needed more on the other side of the veil. 
On our way to WA we stopped at a few places that were somehow very familiar to Abbie, Kallie, and I. Multnomah Falls and the Portland Temple!!

As we were making the 10 hour drive we had a little extra time to see the falls and we met up with our family members at the temple and attended a session which was very special and comforting. After the viewing, funeral, and just being together, we headed home for one night then on to Salt Lake City. Karlo found some work down there and Laurie chose to be buried there in the sunshine rather than the dreary woods of Washington. So we headed down on Monday and Karlo worked Tuesday. Wednesday we attended the graveside service and a luncheon held for the extended family and friends who couldn't come to WA. On Thursday Karlo went back to work and the girls and I headed home only to make it just in time for Abbie's "Meet the Teacher" night at school. Karlo stayed in UT for another week and half while I came home to get Abbie started in school and Kallie to her appointments.

We are so excited that Abbie is able to attend New Horizons Dual Language school! This is a school whose goal is to have all the students bilingual and bi literate by 5th grade. What a wonderful opportunity for our Abbie! So far she is doing GREAT!
